Lookfantastic has opened the doors to its first-ever permanent store in Altrincham in Greater Manchester.
The THG-owned online beauty retailer is building on the success of its popular events and pop-up shops with the permanent shop, which seeks to educate customers about the brands and products it sells.
It stocks over 90 beauty brands including a number of exclusives such as Dermatologist-founded brand, Dr Loretta, Espa, Perricone MD, Jo Malone and Dr. Dennis Gross.
The retailer will also host monthly beauty pop-ups, featuring collaborations, new launches, and limited-edition products, alongside the Beauty Bar, a dedicated space for beauty services, events, and social experiences.
Those shopping at the store can get expert advice from industry advisers and multi-brand specialists, plus in-store guidance from skincare health professionals.
There will also be a selection of beauty services on offer, including the world’s first Color Wow salon inside the store and treatments from Dermalogica.
The store also has a recycling station that supports the retailer’s commitment to sustainability.
THG Beauty chief executive Lucy Gorman said: “We’re excited to bring the Lookfantastic experience to life with our concept store, offering our loyal community incredible exclusives they won’t be able to find anywhere else. This innovative retail space goes beyond products, offering a unique and immersive beauty destination.
“It perfectly complements our omnichannel strategy, bridging the gap between our established online community and the success of our pop-up events.
“Community is at the heart of everything we do, and we’re delighted customers will be able to discover and purchase while also enjoying beauty services, bringing digital beauty into the third dimension for our loyal, local customer base in a new way. “
Lookfantastic, acquired by THG in 2010, was one of the UK’s first digital beauty retailers.
The store opening comes after the group highlighted the success of its beauty division as a key driver of growth.
