Seasalt has poached former Peloton executive Louise Couch as its new chief financial officer.
Couch, who will report to CEO Paul Hayes, will be in charge of the Cornish fashion brand’s business strategy, financial decisions and ongoing global expansion.
She recently served as senior director of international financial planning and analysis at Peloton.
Prior to this, she worked at investment banks Morgan Stanley and JP Morgan under senior roles focused on the retail sector.
Hayes said: “I’m delighted to welcome Louise to Seasalt; her appointment marks a significant strengthening of our senior leadership team.
“Her extensive knowledge and experience, particularly in international markets, will be invaluable as we continue to develop our long-term strategy to support our growth ambitions.”
Seasalt reported another “record-breaking” year in August, as sales were boosted by the fashion retailer’s UK and Ireland store expansion.
The brand took its total store estate in the UK and Ireland to 73 last year, opening new shops in Aberdeen, Malvern in Worcestershire, Meadowhall in Sheffield, Trentham in Stoke-on-Trent, a pop-up in Plymouth, and its third Irish store in Kenmare, Kerry.
