These people have to sign a waiver not to say anything negative about M&S certainly not the family orientated firm they make themselves out to be.

Comment on Dobbies widens losses to £130m as unseasonable weather dampens sales by Alex McCandless https://www.retailgazette.co.uk/blog/2023/12/dobbies-130m-loss/#comment-62599 Fri, 15 Mar 2024 09:22:54 +0000 https://www.retailgazette.co.uk/?p=150922#comment-62599 The rot started at the top with a total departure from its culture at head office once Tescos offloaded to private equity investors. 3 CEOs in 2 years, then an inexperience CEO who micromanaged every area. This inevitably resulted in the loss of many great people and leaders within both head office and the stores.

Comment on Asda’s second store strike dates confirmed for Easter weekend by Bob https://www.retailgazette.co.uk/blog/2024/03/asda-wisbech-strike-dates/#comment-62592 Fri, 15 Mar 2024 03:16:40 +0000 https://www.retailgazette.co.uk/?p=157885#comment-62592 In reply to TJ.

Ever since the brothers took over Asda has become a swet shop for the managers and colleagues
The regional managers are to scared to say anything as they get sacked. The store managers are treated like second d class people. They expected to deliver with hundreds of less hours than they need to run the ships safely.
The colleagues are pushed as is they are some corner shop living and serving all day.
