Top 20: Argos unveils top toys for Christmas 2024

Argos has revealed its annual list of toys predicted to dominate Christmas wish lists this year.

The top 20 has been put together after months of analysis by the retail giant’s team of toy experts

The list features the return of iconic favourites such as Polly Pocket and Furby, with searches for Furby on the chain’s website up by 237% this year.

Beloved TV characters such as Bluey and Stitch have also made the list, while Argos predicts its Lego Wicked Emerald City and Lego’s Dancing Groot will be top of wish lists this Christmas ahead of the release of the musical fantasy film.



Additionally, Argos toy experts predict numerous independent play toys will prove popular this year, including its Goo Jit Zu hero creator and Little Tikes’ Story Dream Machine with Fairytale Collection.

Meanwhile, interactive pet toys are expected to rise in popularity this festive season, with Daisy The Yoga Goat and the Teksta Purro Cat both trending products this year.

Argos director of toy buying Nina Findley said: “There’s a real mix of influences this Christmas, with simple, classic toys continuing to resonate and nostalgic favourites making a comeback.

“Mindfulness products for kids have stepped up hugely this year and we are seeing the continued influence of TV shows and movies really growing. It’s an exciting year.”
