In pictures: Inside Frasers ‘next-generation’ department store at Sheffield’s Meadowhall

Frasers Group has opened the doors to its latest Frasers flagship as it continues to phase out its House of Fraser brand.

The 100,000 sq ft “next-generation” department store flagship cover two floors, housing men’s and womenswear, kids, beauty, footwear and homeware.

The space stocks brands including Ganni, Rains, Nobody’s Child, as well as shoes and accessories labels Ugg, Longchamp and Coach.

The ground floor features the retail giant’s beauty hall with a range of emerging and established beauty, hair and fragrance brands such as Creed, Clarins and ghd.

The group said Meadowhall also “boasts its largest Frasers Home concept to date”, offering a range of specialist homeware brands underpinned by the group’s Sofa.com business.

At the front of the store, the retail giant has partnered with Pret-a-Manger to offer a food-to-go offer in its Frasers store.



The second floor houses the group’s Sports Direct fascia, which spans 55,000sq ft.

The floor features brands including Nike, Under Armour, adidas, Asics, On Running, and Puma, alongside Frasers Group’s Evans Cycles and Game.

Shoppers can visit the Evans Cycles store which includes a bike workshop and offers a market-leading selection of bikes, parts, accessories and clothing.

The flagship also features Sports Direct’s newly launched outdoor concept, as well as it’s running section, which includes a running gait analysis machine to help consumers find the right product for their running journey.

Sports Direct Meadowhall will also offer the new Nike Football department, the second time this concept has been launched within the retailer, the first being at its London flagship.
