John Lewis has unveiled its newly upgraded Oxford Street flagship following a £6.5m investment into the store.
The department store chain has revamped its beauty hall, increasing the space by 25% to house 41 new counters and shop-in-shop concepts.
The department is home to 175 beauty brands, including Clarins, Dior, Clinique and Charlotte Tillbury, as well as The Inkey List, Mac, Skin+Me, Nudestix, and The Ordinary.
The Oxford Street flagship now includes a fragrance hall, with dedicated counters for luxury brands such as Loewe and Maison Francis Kurkdijan.
John Lewis has moved its jewellery space to the first floor, housing 46 brands and a new piercing and jewellery welding services from Tish Lyon.
The retailer has also introduced new brands to its home department, unveiling new partnerships with Ruggable and Made.com while existing brands and room sets have been elevated.
The six storey store has improvements on all floors, and a new Waterstones bookshop which opened earlier this month.
John Lewis executive director Peter Ruis said: “The buzz is back in John Lewis and we’re giving our customers even more reasons to shop in our brilliant stores.
“We’re backing ourselves with significant investment to ensure customers get the exceptional quality, outstanding service, and competitive prices they love about our unique brand.”
